Barton & Gray Daychaser 48

Join The Club

Just under 50 feet long and 15 feet wide, Daychaser is just small enough, and just big enough. This boat has ample space for socializing in four separate zones—the bow lounge for sunning and being seen, the pilothouse bar for beverage and cuisine, the aft deck’s chaise lounges for putting your feet up, and the beach club on the stern for watersports and beach access. Below deck, you will find a roomy head with a full shower, a navigation desk, storage, and a daybed for the occasional nap. We have built a galley right up in the pilothouse that is easy to access and built for entertaining. At the helm, the captain has complete control with all the leading technology and our custom-built Joystick control system.

All of Daychaser’s elegance sits above the highly engineered powertrain, safety equipment, and mechanicals in the engine room. Barton & Gray operates pleasure boats like no one else, requiring execution from the yachts not found aboard consumer boats. For the past 15+ years, we have uncovered the shortcomings of recreational equipment, and made the necessary modifications to keep our yachts running at peak performance. We have taken this knowledge, improved upon it and, in conjunction with Boston Boatworks and Zurn Yacht Design, developed a yacht that is unrivaled in reliability. Commercial-grade Cummins diesels propel the vessel, alongside a generator and electrical system suited for military use. As for safety, our highest-standard USCG Certification provides robust firefighting, weather avoidance, drainage, and monitoring systems. Couple this with Boston Boatworks’ dedicated team of technicians, electricians, engineers, and artisans constantly improving our maintenance and construction processes, and you have one mean machine in an elegant package.
